Sywell Air Show, August 17th 2014

The presence of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's Lancaster in the UK and its scheduled appearance in formation with the BBMF's Lancaster, resulted in sell-out crowds at Sywell's 2014 airshow. In typical fashion though, the UK weather intervened and high winds at RAF Conginsby resulted in the late cancellation of the much anticipated display by the two Lancasters. Despite the disappointment, the show went on and crowds were treated to many fine displays in less than ideal conditions.
